Tron Ride California AdventureDisneyland: Give me your ideas on a ride based on Tron Legacy.
From T Dunc
I was thinking that it would be cool to add a Tron ride in hollywood studios backlot/Hollywoodland in California Adventure. Maybe it could be where the monsters Inc. Ride is. I have a lot of ideas, but I want to here yours as well. Hope you like this task. Have fun with it. And please no smart alic remarks. Posted September 24, 2011 at 9:13 AM

The ride would be a super advanced technology and the story would be that they are taking you in tour and the orange people attack the blue and you are in the middle of the war.Posted September 24, 2011 at 9:30 AM

I think Disneyland Resort needs a Tron ride, but I think it should replace Captain EO over at Tomorrowland.Posted September 24, 2011 at 9:52 AM It could be a 3D film just like Captain EO, but my idea would be for the screen to start out its original size when it begins, then rise to the size of an IMAX screen when they enter the world of TRON.

I know that this is my question, but I wanted the imagination juices to start flowing. I was thinking that they have Flynn's arcade as the entrance. Then you wind through the isles of old arcade games in line. After that you go down into the "basement" and go through the portal. You then end up in the End of Line Club where Castor/Zuse tells you about this great grid limo ride and other stuff. Then you go into a simulated elevator (like the seas with nemo and friends in epcot) and go down to the city level. There you expect to get in a gris limo, but Quorra comes in her light runner (which will probably hold about six people. Kinda like the test track car, but looking like the light runner. Then you come face to face with Castor/Zuse and he is very mad. Cause he had this plan of rectifying the guests. But that is interrupted and then you go through the world of Tron. @Nick: The Philharmagic-esque screen sounds like a good idea! Of course, ElecTRONica is over, so I'm not sure another Tron thing should be at Disney.Posted September 24, 2011 at 3:47 PM

I believe that Shangai Disneyland will have a motorcycle roller coaster themed on Tron instead of the traditional SpaceMountain. I may be wrong, but I thing that this is confirmed, it's not a rumor.Posted September 28, 2011 at 2:44 PM
