Near Tampa, worth visiting Busch Gardens?Busch Gardens Tampa: Staying in Clearwater and thinking about making a side trip.
From Alvaro Reyes
Hi we are flying to Florida in September, we've booked a few nights in Clearwater and realized that Bush Gardens is not far away from there. Last year we went to Disneyland parks, Universal and Islands of Adventure. i have 2 questionsPosted February 1, 2012 at 3:59 PM 1) we are staying 4 days in clear water, is it worth to sacrify 1 day for visiting Bush Gardens? 2) If the answer is yes, what are the must go or see attractions ? including rollercoaster shows ..and others?

I'd say its absolutely worth visiting. Must do's are probably Sheikra, Montu, and Kumba as far as coasters go. They also have a full zoo as well. If you like roller coasters and you like zoos, then Busch Gardens Tampa is certainly worth a day trip.Posted February 2, 2012 at 6:16 AM

Other must dos are Congo River Rapids, the skyride and Cheetah Hunt. And make sure you either eat in the Stanlyville Smoke House or the Crown Colony House (upstairs). I also like Gwazi the wooden coaster there, although it can be a bit rough. Posted February 2, 2012 at 8:25 AM

Yes it totally is they just opened a new animal care center in January so you can help with the animals or just watch them take care of them. I really love montu sheikra and cheetah hunt My favorite water ride is Tanganiyaka tidal wavePosted February 3, 2012 at 6:27 PM
