discount unused tickets
Walt Disney World: turned in unused tickets to be resold
I have heard that in Orlando you can purchase discount tickets from and organization that resells tickets that have been turned in from customers that have not used all of their tickets. Can anyone tell me the name and where you go to obtain these tickets

Disney and universal no longer really allow this sort of thing. I have a friend who worked in ticket sales for Disney for years and they've really clamped down on this. While yes there are some places that you can do this they are far from reputable and you run the chance of being turned away at the gate. And, then you would have to buy new tickets on top of all of that. In general Disney no longer uses third party sellers for their tickets as a means to keep control of their product. (There used to be a ton of crappy time shares that would dangle free tickets over your head to try and get you in the door and that wasn't the image Disney was looking for.
Essentially, the only discounts to be had at Disney are for Florida Residents and Military Service Members, both of which require ID to receive. With Universal there's more leeway as you can find discounts in the local fast food chains and grocery stores sometimes. The whole resale of unused portions of tickets is a dicey way to go.
Yes, just avoid this ticket selling/buying, it is illegal.
I would avoid this if you can. It is actually against the law in FL to sell used tickets.

Yeah I would have to agree to stay away from buying those tickets. Your best bet is to buy the tickets directly from the theme park. You can do this at the gate or online. I'd suggest online because it will save you time from having to wait in line at the gate and you can also sometimes find discounts on the website. You might be paynig more through the park, but you will have piece of mind that your tickets will work and not get turned down at the gate. Hope this helps!
