Where to Watch the NCAA MBB Championship Game?
Walt Disney World: Any suggestions?
My family and I will be staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter during the first week of April. We want to find a location to watch the NCAA Mens Basketball championship game.
Bet it'll be on TV in your room. :)
But if that's your main concern on a Disney vacation, more power to you. Me, I'd have a lot of other things to think about.
There's two locations I can think off right off the bat that you should be able to watch the games. One is the
ESPN Club Restaurant at the BoardWalk Inn. The second is the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill at the Wide World of Sports Complex.
Hope this helps :)
This won't help much since you'll be at Disney, but I'd say there's a 99% chance you could definitely watch the game at Finnegan's in USO.
We happened to attend Halloween Horror Nights during the 2008 World Series and it was on all the TVs. I still remember sitting at my table and quietly rooting for the Rays while a huge herd of rabid Phillies fans cheered at the bar :-)
I'm not a huge sports fan, but I understand wanting to find a place to watch the game with a group. Hope some of the other suggestions work out for you!

NBACity at CityWalk, or ESPN Club at Disney's Boardwalk
I think the hotel rooms have cable... ;D
In all seriousness, NBACity or ESPN Zone or your best bets.
I think your hotel room would be the best option if you want to watch in peace--cable is not an issue because the game will be on CBS. I hear ESPN Club at the Boardwalk gets insanely crowded on the nights of big games, so that may not be a great choice especially this year with the game falling on the week prior to Easter.
ESPN Club will likely be absolutely mobbed that night. I tried to get in there once for an ALCS game when the Yankees were in it one time, and ended up not getting in.
I would suggest the new bar/dance-club at Coronado Springs. I was there one time during the NFL playoffs and they had a decent-sized lively crowd watching the game without it being too packed. But there is loud music on the other side of the club once it gets later at night if that bothers you.
ESPN Club is one of the few places that gets all the Sports Stations

Universal City Walk set up a jumbotron at the water amphitheater Saturday night for the NBA skills. Maybe they will repeat this for other events. It looked great.
