Need Opinion on Date of Trip to Six Flags MM

Six Flags Magic Mountain: Need some opinions on my date choices...

Hi, first time poster here. I'm planning to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain with 5 of my friends within a month. However, I would like to hear some peoples' opinions on their experiences around this time of the year to avoid crowds. Basically, I want to either go the last week of March, which is the week before spring break, or the second week of April, which is the week after spring break. Which week would be better? Keep in mind the last week of March is the first week of full-time operation for Six Flags, so that may be a factor to consider.

I live over 10 hours away, so this is a big trip for me, and I don't want it wasted standing in line.

Thanks for any suggestions/experiences.

First weeks are always a little sketchy.....although Magic Mountain is open on weekends year round, so you may be ok. I would try to figure out when Spring Break is and not go at that time.

The best experience I ever had at Magic Mountain was on a Sunday in February....I owned the park....

Either one of your weeks should be fine.....it is a complete crap shoot as to what attendance may be....but it should be fairly light either week....
