Six Flags GA and Aquarium Labor Day weekend 2012
Six Flags Over Georgia: Six Flags GA and Aquarium Labor Day weekend 2012 how busy will it be? Flash pass worth it? 1 or 2 days for SFOG?

Going to SFOG Labor day weekend with husband and 3 year old. We have never been. Does anyone know if it will be busier Sat or Sun? Will it be so busy that we should go both days? Is the Flash pass worth the money? If we go both days should we buy the season pass? We will not use the pass except for this trip.
We also plan to visit the GA Aquarium and expecting it to be very crowded too. Does anyone have a feel for the better day to attend the aquarium Fri, Sat or Sun? Thanks

It's going to be busy. I think SFOG will be less busy on Sunday, but it will still have long lines. If it's cheaper to buy a season pass or get flash pass for one day, do that instead of paying for two days. The Aquarium will be very busy as in terrible crowds all 3 days. It can still be fun, but get there when it opens(or before).
For a plan, I would go to the Aquarium Friday Morning and stay until you are done(2-5 hours). I would get the Summer Thrill Pass($55 per person) at SFOG and go to the park on Saturday and Sunday to catch any rides you missed. However, if you want to spend a day going to Stone Mt or other area attractions, go to SFOG for 1 day($35 tickets online!) and get flash pass.

David,
Thanks so much. Is the Gold much better than the regular Flash Pass?

If you want to kill a few hours with complete insanity, head downtown Saturday morning for the Dragon*Con parade. That's where I'll be!

I completely forgot about Dragon Con...Go to the Parade Saturday Morning and have one of the best people watching times of your life! And, if you happen to be more on the nerdy side like me, buy tickets to the Convention for a day if you have time. As for Flash Passes, I have only used regular and I think the others are way too expensive.
