Let's brainstorm a Star Wars theme parkHave at it!
From Mark Fairleigh
If were were all designing a Star Wars theme park together...what elements would we put in? what lands? what rides? restaurants? shops? Consider this a cumulative effort, where everyone suggests something and it's part of the plan...just throw something or some things at the wall and see what we all come up with. Posted July 29, 2012 at 11:10 PM My first pitch is a HUGE replica of the Death Star as the "Cinderella Castle" of the park. Bigger than Spaceship Earth housing a Spidey-like 3D dark-ride and a gift shop themed to the trash compactor room, including statues of Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie fighting off the one-eyed water creature. Have at it!

One main idea I have thought of is a hub and spoke design with the hub being a massive indoor space port through which guests can access different planets (spokes).Posted July 30, 2012 at 6:30 AM

I agree the icon would be the Death Star, but I think it should house several rides including a Spiderman style dark ride and a giant coaster.Posted July 30, 2012 at 8:09 AM Endor- Rides: Star Tours 2, Speeder Bike Racing. Tatooine- Rides: Luke's Landspeeder Coaster, Podracing Hoth- Rides: Rebel Shooters (a shooting ride)

I would make the entrance area be the City of Naboo. It's neo-classical design and inspirations would work nicely as a very beautiful entry way into the park and lend itself to shops, eateries, and such.Posted July 30, 2012 at 8:53 AM MAIN CENTER PIECE/HUB CORUSCANT ENDOR NABOO TATOOINE The Mos Eisley (main part of this land) would have Aliens all around, animatronic animals integrated into the scenery. Robots here and there. Then you would enter the hub/spaceport area and go to these different areas. The "Cantina Bar & Grill" would be the big draw here with a buffet, character meets, and such.
