they are making an announcement in a few weeks according to a sign at cedar point. rumor is that it is going to be a wing coaster located where disaster transport is right now. it is closed and will be removed soon probably with space spiral so it will hopefully be ready for next year. wow is it hard to type with no capital letters!Posted August 6, 2012 at 2:19 PM

2013 the new B&M "Alt. Winged Coaster" project is set to open. It's going into the space now occupied by Disaster Transport and Space Spiral have. Rumor has it the coaster with make two trips over the entrance plaza of the park. Posted August 6, 2012 at 4:39 PM

In typical Cedar Point fashion it'll be tallest, longest, and fastest of it's kind. At least, that's what I've heard. I don't see how they'll make room for this, but they're removing some sort of building too. That green track at the B&M... factory? in Ohio is rumored to be it's track, but I hope not because it's the same color as Raptor. I would rather see a B&M floorless design with tons of inversions, but they're pretty much out of room. I would also love to see a 500 foot coaster... okay... I'd better stop dreaming now.Posted August 7, 2012 at 3:27 PM

500 feet would be quite high, Karly. But it'd deserve the speed record. Sorry, Formula Rossa and Ring Racer (which was supposed to open 3 years ago and it still hasn't.) :)Posted August 7, 2012 at 10:09 PM
