AK to HWS questionWalt Disney World: Let's talk logistics.
From Matt Sides
Quick question. If I spend the day at AK and leave somewhere between 4PM-5PM... head to HWS... is that enough time to sneak in Fantasmic, Star Tours, Aerosmith, & Tower of Terror before the park closes at 8PM?Posted August 13, 2012 at 6:44 PM I know it's obviously dependent on the crowd size (we'll be there the first week of Dec)...

Absolutely...I was there this past December and crowd levels are really manageable. ToT and Star Tours will have really short wait times and RnRC's wait won't be too bad either...you may grab a fastpass at 4:30 and have a return at 7. Posted August 13, 2012 at 6:57 PM Toy Story Mania is the one with the long wait but you didnt mention it. Fantasmic should have plenty of seating available 15-20 minutes before showtime. Early December is a wonderful time to visit Disney World.

Yes, grab a fast pass for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (if they aren't too late) then ride Tower of Terror which usually always has a very short wait. Posted August 13, 2012 at 7:00 PM Or if you utilize single rider line for RNRC then you should be able to do both ToT and RNRC multiple times. I did both attractions in under 35 minutes by using RNRC single rider line. Star Tours wait is so short all the time, it won't be a problem. Then you can see Fantasmic!

Star Tours and TOT won't be a problem due to their monster capacity. RNRC should have a short wait, but you might wanna FP it to do ST and TOT.Posted August 13, 2012 at 7:07 PM

Ha, RNRC have a short wait?! Never! It always has the 2nd longest or longest wait in the park. It's crazy! But yeah, ToT and Star Tours are capacity monsters.Posted August 13, 2012 at 7:15 PM

You wanna spend the whole day in AK? I don't know when you plan to go but my husband and I were done by 2:00 PM (we weren't running!) ... Posted August 17, 2012 at 7:08 PM HS is my favorite and Rock'n'Roller Coaster (it's a must!)can have pretty long lines.
