Dollywood Report 8/20/12
Dollywood: Trip report! Trip report! Trip report!
Well we got to Dollywood around opening time. Not to crowded and not to hot. I went with my mom, dad and sister. We headed to Thunderhead and had a great ride. Next we headed to mystery mine but unfortunately it was closed with technical issues all day. :(
Off we headed to Wild Eagle it was a great ride but short. :)
I rode on Rockin Roadway and sky rider. We had a pretzel at one of the little stands and that was good. :p Next we went on the Dollywood express no soot got in my eyes, yay! Lastly, me and my sister got a caricature for our mom! I know it was a short day but we went from open to close. I liked Dollywood and everything inside! Wish I could've rode mystery mine though :( So I do recommend Dollywood to anyone!
Blazing Fury?
Tennessee Tornado?
Yes? No? Maybe?
Forgot to go on blazing fury and I didn't really like the other one.
Blazing Fury was actually my second favorite ride there, trailing only Thunderhead (my only visit pre-dated Wild Eagle.)
Did you try Mountain Slidewinder?
My dad did and he said it was really fun. I will have to go back I didn't get the chance to ride everything.
I liked Mountain Slidewinder a lot.

It sounds like you only got to see less than half the place from what you described. Here are some things I would recommend you put on a must ride list next time you visit the park:
-Blazing Fury
-Daredevil Falls
-Mountain Slidewinder
-Mystery Mine (since it was closed)
-Smoky Mountain River Rampage
-Tennessee Tornado
Also, be sure to try the Cinnamon Bread at the Grist Mill. Best dessert/snack food I've had at a theme park.
Despite missing some stuff, however, it does sound like you had a great time.
I actually went on Tennesse tornado and mystery mine was closed.
Man, that's TOO BAD Mystery Mine was closed. It's the thing I'd stay an extra few days for. Have I done this before at other parks? Maybe... :)
