Big Change to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Wave Pool

Walt Disney World: No more body surfing

From David Hicks
Posted September 27, 2012 at 1:59 PM
Typhoon Lagoon has permanently lowered the surf wave several feet to discourage all forms of body surfing. Guests have been enjoying body surfing since opening day June 1st 1989, but now it's deemed unsafe after 23 years. If you're not happy with it please let them know at : wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

What's the point then, just remove the wave machine and make it a big stupid pool.

Well, Brian's proven in the past that he and bathroom humor get along very well.
