Transformers is great -- with the exception of one annoying thingUniversal Studios Hollywood: The employees at the loading area scream at guests.
From Daniel Etcheberry
The employees wear military clothes and scream at guests like if they were in military training. I found it annoying. The military clothe puts them in character and thats fine, but it can do without the screaming. At Pirates of the Caribbean, the cast members don't behave like pirates. I'd think that'd be fun! And if the staff at pirates acted more like pirates that would be awesome! I can see it being obnoxious, but only if they do it too much.Posted October 2, 2012 at 7:30 PM

It's theme. I like the idea. Also, for the record, there are plenty of cast members at MK who act like pirates - they're members of the Pirate's League and they come out into the ride exit and act like a pirate with the guests. What would even be the point of being dressed as pirate or whatever else if you couldn't talk and act like it??Posted October 2, 2012 at 8:08 PM

I can see how it would be annoying but that's the theme do you want it to be like six flags and have no emotion at all just "walk to the end of the row thanks for coming to six flags" You don't want that you want to feel like your on the ride actually go on transformers !!!Posted October 2, 2012 at 8:24 PM

Well, it's apart of the theme & I think it's fun. Posted October 3, 2012 at 10:37 AM I rode it again this past weekend & they basically only "yell" at you when you are loading the ride. (Hurry up soldiers! Pull down on the lap bar, go, go, go!) It "could" get annoying for some people, because the closer you get to loading, the more "yelling" you'll hear, every time a new group of riders get on, so I guess it depends on the individual, but it's actually just a few lines of dialogue that's being "yelled". I think it fits for this type of ride...... the Transformers films were all about the yelling.......i.e, Shia's (ahem) "Optimussssssssss!!!!!!!".............Bublebeeeeeee!!!!!!" So the attraction needed some yelling :-)

Haunted Mansion employees should smile more too. Same with those Tower of Terror people. Posted October 3, 2012 at 5:30 PM
