HHN22 - In-park Interactive Game - Horror UnearthedUniversal Orlando: Has anyone played the new interactive game within Universal Studios Orlando for HHN 22. It uses and RFID card which tracks you through the haunted houses and you get points for every house you go through.
From Robert Smith
Please tell me that someone else here has played the new game at Universal Orlando for HHN22. The game is called Horror Unearthed. It is a free game which is played both online and through interactive features (RFID) throughout the park. This was my third year attending HHN and I have never seen anything like this in the parks before. It was setting over by the stroller rentals section, near the exit of Universal Studios Florida.Posted October 25, 2012 at 9:20 AM Basically the game works by getting an RFID card which trakcs you through each house. Everyhouse has a reader at the exit of the hosue where you scan your card. Once a house is completed you get a text about the house and your task and points. Its really fun and there are other tasks to complete such as meeting up with others who are playing the game. I have attended the event 2 extra nights and have played the game on both of these extra nights. The only issues is one of the house scanners, for the walking dead house, were not working when I went through on one night. Other than that I have loved playing the game. When I got home I found the link for the game on the HHN22 website under extras. It appears the online game is just as detailed as the in-park game play. Has anyone else played the game?

I attempted to play the online version but I kept having trouble getting the page to load after I logged in so I just gave up. I know I joined the green hand group though, whichever one that is. I liked the idea of it being played online and in the park, I just never actually got to register at rentals and play. Posted October 25, 2012 at 1:42 PM

Yes, it seems at first the game had some small glitches in it. I talked to one of the employees and they said it was a beta testing for more things to come in the future. I went and played again tonight. The task was for the Morphin bloodline - this is the line that I play under. It was awesome!! We met up at Kidzone and met with other users and got to meet the design team. Its just exciting to be part of something so big!
