Who makes the Best Movies…?The battle for Theme parks - who makes the best movies.
From Brian Emery
The battle for Theme parks who make movies or actually movie companies who have Theme parks is obviously between Disney and Universal. Both companies had made lots and lots of movies. And both have had great hits and flops. Posted October 31, 2012 at 9:14 AM With Disney buying Marvel and now Lucas Films, they are well positioned to improve their movie division. Plus they own Pixar, thanks to Steve Jobs. Universal has had some block buster movies over the years. Despicable me, Bourne series, Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park and of course ET just to name a few.. Maybe it depends on your personal taste but my question is: Who makes the best movies between Disney and Universal?

Disney has Star Wars, therefore they are better.Posted October 31, 2012 at 9:20 AM

I believe Universal has created the "better" movies. Though Disney has some great ones...Posted October 31, 2012 at 12:17 PM

I can use my hands to count Disney movies I consider "classic/great" (Pixar not included)Posted October 31, 2012 at 12:45 PM For Universal, I'd likely need my toes, too. So, Universal.

Dom seems a little biased... considering that 3 of my Top 10 favorite movies are from Universal, I gotta pick them. Posted October 31, 2012 at 1:07 PM

Im not being biased Andy. In fact, ET and BTTF are in my Top 10. But IV-VI beats the crap out of both of them, plus I have 3 more Disney movies on there. Anyone wanna take guesses? ;)Posted October 31, 2012 at 1:21 PM

Dom said ..."wookie.."Posted October 31, 2012 at 1:36 PM Never mind Hurricane Sandy. Dom misspelled a word from the world of Star Wars???!!! He forgot the last "e" in Wookiee!!! THAT is a true sign of the apocalypse.

Dom, I think you'll find if you actually look at the original question, its "Who makes the best movies between Disney and Universal?" - Disney did not make any of the Star Wars moves, therefore your answer is invalid to the question.Posted November 2, 2012 at 5:12 AM

Ok, but I'm still giving the edge to Disney by 1%Posted November 2, 2012 at 5:55 AM
