Blizzard beach

Walt Disney World: Good for a full day? And, hey, what about Splash Mountain?

First ten days in December we are going to WDW.
We are going to Blizzard beach, now is Blizzard beach good for the full day?
Also I read about Splash Mountain, is it open or just falling apart and operating?

Blizzard Beach is open 10-5 in December and I think you could easily stay there the whole time, weather permitting. It should be pretty dead so you will most likely be able able to do your favorite slides a couple times each and the lazy river is always fun to spend an hour in just laying there. If you're looking for something to do that night maybe walk around Downtown Disney or catch a movie at the theatre there?

Thats exactly how my family does the water parks. Blizzard Beach also has one of the best minnature golf courses I have ever been on.

Splash Mountain should be open. I think it just needs to TLC in the near future
