Possible Lagoon show at Islands of Adventure?

Universal Orlando: Is there a new lagoon show being brought to Universal's Islands of Adventure?

Parkscope reports that there were some "occasional white flash(es)" happening over by IOA. Reports have said that this COULD BE a new nighttime show coming to IOA and due to Studios' success with thir Cinematic Spectacular show, it makes it more likely that this is true.

But it could be just a NYE celebration thing.

Any thoughts?

Well Islands closes at 11pm on Dec 31 last time I checked so I really doubt it's for New Years fireworks...

Don't they already have one? I remember the first time I went to IOA they had a lagoon firework show that shot USF's out of the water (no pun intended). I remember it so well because they had these flying sparklers that hovered over the water. It wasn't even the 4th of July or any other holiday from what I remember (I was a kid at the time so that's probably why I'm so confused lol). Whatever happened to that?

Islands of Adventure had a fireworks show Christmas week of 2003 as did Studios that year. I also remember something in the IOA lagoon, daytime stunt show maybe, in summer of 2004 or 2005 or 2006.
