As part of an ongoing legislature in Florida, a vote may determine whether or not companies in the state would be required to provide paid sick days. Apparently, Disney World is among the opponents attempting to pass a bill that would delay this. Reportedly, the company has even rejected a petition with 6000 signatures attempting to gain support for the legislation. As always, I wait for statements from the Disney corporation before developing any opinion.
Does anyone know what the current sick day policy is at WDW? If so, what would this legislation do, if anything?
