Transformers to go or not?Universal Orlando: Is it worth going to transformers opening day?
From Lori JonesI am heading to Orlando on the 18th of June for 2 weeks. I am super excited about the transformers ride opening, but am in a dilemma. Do I battle the crowds, withstand the wait times and go for the opening on the 20th? Or do I make my way to another park and try for the transformers another day? Any thoughts would be a great help!!

From Dominick DGo another day. Soft openings will definitely happen weeks before, so try a soft opening.

From Lori JonesDo you think there will be a soft opening on the 19th? That is the only day we can go before the official opening. I'm so excited, I will have to get on this ride at somepoint during my stay!!

From Rob PastorLooks like soft openings will start for the employees sometime this week. So the general public will be after that. But soft openings are a hit or miss. They're not something you can plan for since they are not necessarily everyday, their hours are usually limited and the ride may be suspended for a time if a problem pops up. The grand opening day will probably be so crowded that you will not be able to get on the ride without a long wait. But the attraction will have an express line so it may be worth staying at a hotel on site. But, there is supposed to be a huge event on grand opening day. Rumors are that Universal Studios will be under attack by the Decipticons and that there will be battles in the streets of the park with armored vehicles being brought in. Its supposed to surpass the Hollywood Universal event and be on a par with the Harry Potter opening events. It will be crowded but maybe worth it just to see that unfold.
