Europe in the Air closes for the remainder of the season

Busch Gardens Williamsburg: The simulator ride you either love or hate has closed for the rest of the 2013 season without any explanation from Busch Gardens.

According to Screamscape, the ride has closed for the remainder of the 2013 operating season. Could Busch Gardens be preparing for a Howl-o-Scream maze early? Could it be part of some budget cuts that have affected other SeaWorld Entertainment parks?

What do you think caused Busch Gardens to close "Europe in the Air" in the height of the season?

I've been reading elsewhere that these are budget cuts.
