Which music do you like to listen when driving to a theme park?
It sets the mood for your destination.
I enjoy listening to Pachelbel's Canon when driving from Tampa to Orlando; it is the combination of the beautiful melody of that music with the plenty of farm land and green found in that route that makes me feel that my destination is heaven, which it is for me.
If I were living in L.A. and I had to drive to Disneyland, I would listen to Randy Newman's "I love L.A." on my way to that park.
Pachelbel's Canon...my how long it has been since I played that in my middle school band. Good times!
Alas, unlike other teenagers my age, I am not a modern music aficionado (especially with the garbage put out today) and generally listen to the local talk radio. Shows what an absolute bore I am. :)
With that said, since I usually go to SF Great America in a group, I bite the bullet and put on the local rap/pop/etc. station. Gotta keep some reputation in tact.
For some reason, the following artists/CDs seem to be in my CD player when I'm driving to parks...
John Fogerty..Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again
Clash..London Calling
Beastie Boys..Licensed To Ill
Warren Zevon..Life'll Kill Ya
Warren Zevon..The Wind
Among others...
I guess it's pretty simple..I'm heading out to do what I love most, I listen to the music I like most.

IOA soundtrack... of course. The drive from the airport to Universal is only about 10-15 minutes so you can only get a few songs in. Always start with Call to Adventure.
I listen to rock n roll on my way. Always.
Depends on which park. If I'm going to a Disney park, I'll flip on some songs that represent the Disney Park I'm going to. For example, if I'm going to DHS, I'll listen to Star Wars, Aerosmith, Muppets, Singin in the Rain, and so on. If I'm going to Magic Kingdom, it's strictly Disney music. If I'm going to USF, I listen to strictly Universal and Warner Bros. movie music. I'm somewhat of a film buff and it's funny that this discussion is something I think about even when I'm not going to a theme park.
IOA Soundtrack, Rush, or The Beatles.
On the way to Universal I always listen to the Jurassic Park theme, E.T. theme, Harry Potter theme and then the Port of Entry soundtrack! Islands of Adventure has some amazing music.
I totally forgot about the Islands of Adventure soundtrack!
I like listening to Disney music (shocking, I know!)
But I also like LA Message of the Blues
