Theme-Park Design
Universal Orlando: A recent graduate looking for work in the Theme-Park industry
Ok I am a recent university graduate from the United Kingdom with a Degree in 3D Interior Architecture. I have always been fascinated by Theme-parks and the world in which they create and immerse the public in. I am just wandering if anyone has any tips or words of advice for me? I know it is an extremely hard profession to break into, its the same for any design work really. The main thing is i'm not from the United States where most of these Jobs are available, what can I do to better my chances?
Thank you
Disney has a post grad programme, you can try them maybe? Otherwise look at Merlin, I think they have some things on their website.
Are you familiar with Building Information Modeling software or Integrated Project Delivery?
Thanks :)
Yeah i'm familiar with BIM, I use Archicad which is part of the BIM family and also SketchUp. I also throw my hand at a few other softwares, keeping my options open :)
