Electronic wheel chair rental-availability @ThanksgivingWalt Disney World: Hoping to rent an ECV at each of the parks, any trouble with supply? We are going on a busy holiday weekend, should we rent from a private company?
From j freuserWe need to rent an electric wheelchair for my father who has limited mobility. We are going over the Thanksgiving holiday, has anyone had any trouble getting one? It says first come first serve, my only fear is that they would be out of ECV before we got to the park!

From Michelle MorganI know this might come a little late for your current trip, but it might help you in the future. There are several companies that deliver the electric scooters/wheelchairs directly to your hotel. Renting from one of these companies is much less expensive then renting daily at the parks. Not only that, but you will have the scooter/wheelchair outside the park, as well. I did this this summer when I was recuperating from Achille's Tendon repair, and it was a godsend!
