If a retro Epcot pavilion was to be re-built...Walt Disney World: Would it be able to still survive with the new generations?
From Andrew DoughertyWhat do you think? Will the attractions work as mostly nostalgia, or will it be time less enough to survive with a new generation?

From Phil B.Are you talking about the idea of completely rebuilding an exact replica of an attraction like World of Motion or Horizons?

From Andrew DoughertyYep. Like if they were to rebuild Horizons or the rumored Journey into Imagination being restored to its former glory as the original version.

From Pat BartkusDisney took the magic out of so many things. I agree - bring back Journey into Imagination, Horizens and World of Motion. Turn Wonder of Life into something amazing like add a water ride that follows the "Fantastic Voyage" story. And PLEASE add back the music that added so much to the experiences. Remember not all visitors are 16 years old needing endless thrills. Many of us enjoyed the magic and the learning. And yes - bring back veggie, fruit, fruit!

From Michelle MorganI have always fantasized about a whole park full of the original attractions. Could you imagine having Mr. Toad's Wild Ride back, or like you said, Horizons, Journey To Imagination with Dreamfinder, World of Motion? I would also have to include The Making of Me, Body Wars, ABC Television where they picked people out of the audience to be in old sitcoms, Snow White's Scary Adventures, If You Had Wings, Kitchen Kaberet, the Land Boat Ride when the people manning the boats actually did the narration. Oh and how could I forget... The Adventurer's Club!!!

There are so many things I miss about "old" WDW.
From TH CreativeIf a retro Epcot pavilion was to be re-built ... In the forest where no one was around ... Could it make a rock so big that even it could not lift it?

Kinda makes ya think, don't it?
From Mike RhodesWhilst I believe things can't stay the same for ever and things as we remember them from 20 years ago may not appear as good today with our today eyes, I do think sometimes things change for changes sake. I always thought epcot was a special park when I worked there in the early 90s, the rides - Horizons, world of motion etc were very unique attractions, still not really matched anywhere else today, and I don't think their replacements with fast thrills has necessarily been a good thing. Sure, the future would catch up with Horizons, but then surely it could have kept being upgraded/updated every 10 years or so (Wasn't 'plussing'/improving an original Disney vision/concept). I would love to see some of the oldies back, I still love epcot, but I think it lost it's way a bit. Michelle mentions Mr Toad's Wild Ride which was/is hugely popular, wouldn't that have been a perfect fit for the UK pavillion (which lacks an attraction), rather than just scrapping it in Florida.
