From Tyler HarrisWhat is your least favorite Six Flags ride and why?

From Mike GallagherI don't really get into reasons why I like some rides and dislike others. But for me, the Dark Knight Coaster at SF Great Adventure is the bottom of the barrel.

From James TrexenI've never enjoyed the (former) Iron Wolf at Great America along with the Demon. Both have left me feeling with major migraines and whiplash.
Posted February 25, 2013 at 2:35 PM
From Mike GallagherJames, Demon is a steel looper, right? I always get it confused with Viper, the woodie that I liked. I remember Demon being pretty bad..then again, the woodies were the only coasters I really enjoyed there. I disliked Iron Wolf, but I'll give it another shot on my way down to VA in April.
Posted February 25, 2013 at 2:49 PM
From Tyler HarrisHonestly,I'm not a fan of Aquaman at Six Flags Over Texas. Barley got wet on that. I also don't like Blackbeard or Dark Knight. Hope you enjoy your trip in April Mike! And, I also dislike anything Lonney Tunes related.

From Anthony MurphyInteresting that Six Flags Great America has gotten some flack!
Posted February 25, 2013 at 6:35 PM
Anyway, I would say the Dark Knight Coaster and Iron Wolf. Iron Wolf was especially rough and not good for (ahem) us larger people.
I have never had an issue with the Demon. Love it!
From James TrexenHey now, I still rank Batman (1st big boy coaster) and American Eagle highly on my list. But after two times on the Demon's two corkscrews, I'm not sure another ride's worth it. Maybe on my next visit...

From AJ HummelExcluding kiddie coasters, these are my least favorite coasters at each of the Six Flags parks I've been to:
Posted February 25, 2013 at 9:08 PM
Six Flags Magic Mountain: Gold Rusher (it's still a decent mine train, but it's old, rough, and somewhat boring), formerly Psyclone (horribly rough wooden coaster, but it's replacement is one of the park's best rides)
I've also been on a number of non-coaster rides at Six Flags parks that I wouldn't waste time doing again, but since I go to these parks primarily for coasters I don't concern myself too much with those.
From Tyler HarrisYou guys don't have to do roller coasters. You can also mention kiddie rides.
Posted February 26, 2013 at 12:55 PM
From Mike GallagherI would never call a kiddie ride "bad" because..well, because they're kiddie rides :)
Posted February 26, 2013 at 1:19 PM
From Tyler HarrisI see your point.
Posted February 26, 2013 at 1:23 PM
From Mike GallagherI had a point? Hm.
Posted February 26, 2013 at 2:29 PM
From Orrin CarstarphenThe Georgia Cyclone is the worst wooden coaster EVER. It needs to be scrapped ASAP. It is so rough it will cause bodily harm.
Posted February 27, 2013 at 7:58 PM
From Ryan SpannSix Flags Over Georgia's GASM... painful...
Posted February 27, 2013 at 10:23 PM
From Tyler Harris6 more days before I take the final tally. after that, no posting.
Posted February 28, 2013 at 12:58 PM
From Mike GallagherIf we want to post after you "tally," we'll post.
Posted February 28, 2013 at 1:59 PM
YOU CAN'T STOP US!!! :)
From Matt BabiakDark.Knight.Roller "coaster".

From Terry O'NealGreat American Scream Machine - Six Flags Gret Adventure
Posted March 1, 2013 at 10:12 AM
From Tyler Harris5 days to go
Posted March 1, 2013 at 12:45 PM
From Mike GallagherCountdown's a bit unnecessary, Tyler.
Posted March 1, 2013 at 1:28 PM
From Wade LaxtonThe Dark Knight Coaster is just awful. I remember going on it a mere 3 months after the movie came out or around that time, I was excited to ride it until I heard from all the people coming out of it saying how bad it was. I didn't believe them until I actually rode it. It's that bad and a total disgrace to The Dark Knight legacy.
Posted March 4, 2013 at 10:29 AM
Six Flags...you are NOT Universal or even Disney so don't try and be immersive with your rides because if that's the best you can do with a top notch property like Batman, than maybe you should start considering auctioning it off to Universal :)
From Mike GallagherI think we have a winner, Tyler.

From Tyler HarrisWARNiNG..Wensday is the last day to post!
Posted March 4, 2013 at 2:53 PM
From David L.Having only been to SFOG, and then Elitch when it was under the Six Flags banner, I'd have to say Ninja at SFOG, the ride where smart people wait outside the line and laugh at the bobble heads on the trains.
Posted March 4, 2013 at 8:48 PM
btw, I love both the Great American Scream Machine and Georgia Cyclone!!! Both are slightly rough with an incredible amount of airtime that makes the ride feel thrilling and unpredictable.
From James Trexen"Wensday is the last day to post!"

Good news everyone, the contest has been extended indefinitely!
Either that or Mad Max's world is finally coming to fruition.
From James RaoSticking close to home, I am not a fan of SFSTL.... the only rides at the park that I DO like are American Thunder, the Boss, Batman, Freeze (if you can avoid the weeds), and Ninja (if you can avoid the neck crushing final helix). Everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING, is mediocre or worse. Much worse.
Posted March 4, 2013 at 9:38 PM
Furthermore, adding a used Vekoma Boomerang to the park in 2013 is like washing filthy hands with fecal material. Not a good way to clean up your image, folks!
From James RaoNothing ends a thread faster than mentioning fecal material. Sorry about that, gang! ;)
Posted March 5, 2013 at 11:01 AM
From Tyler HarrisTrexen-I mean this Wensday which is tomorrow!
Posted March 5, 2013 at 2:51 PM
And by the way, with 1 day left till the tally, i think Dark Knight Coaster has the lead. Could someone check please?
From chris conaThe dark knight they made such a big deal bout it and it sucks
Posted March 5, 2013 at 3:31 PM
From James TrexenI have a feeling Tyler missed the intent of my previous post, considering that it can be applied yet again...
Posted March 5, 2013 at 3:43 PM
From Mike GallagherTyler said, " i think Dark Knight Coaster has the lead. Could someone check please?"
Posted March 5, 2013 at 6:16 PM
Umm...isn't that YOUR job?
From Anthony MurphyOh Rao, you really dislike SFStL. You gotta come up to SFGA!
Posted March 5, 2013 at 6:40 PM
From Bryce McGibenyI've only been to Six Flags over Georgia, and I can't say I really liked Ninja... It's notorious for being one of the roughest coasters out there, and it really lives up to it's name.
Posted March 5, 2013 at 8:13 PM
From James RaoSomeday, Mr. Murphy, someday.
Posted March 6, 2013 at 4:03 AM
I have been to other Six Flags parks that I did like, such as Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags New England....they just don't take very good care of their St Louis park for some reason.
From Marie-Eve LandryIn Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal): Toboggan Nordique. Yuck.
Posted March 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM
From Mike GallagherWensday(sic) has come and gone. Wherefore art thou, Tyler? You give us an artificial deadline and then don't followup and pull a disappearing act. Wazzupwiddat?
Posted March 8, 2013 at 6:46 PM
From Tyler HarrisSorry guys! Anyway the true winner is the Dark Knight Coaster with 7 votes. According to our fans,Dark Knight Coaster is the most hated ride of all Six Flags rides!
Posted March 10, 2013 at 4:32 PM
No one can submit a least favorite ride anymore, as I will be posting a new thread. Or better yet...A competition! Water Park Appeatince 2,coming now!
From Mike GallagherDon't threaten us, young man.

From steve leeLate response to Orrin, but it has to be noted that they're doing some amazing work at SFOG with Georgia Cyclone with topper track. When I was there last year, they had the first drop done as kind of a test and it was an entirely different ride. Cyclone was amazing when I first rode it, but it went downhill fast. It appears that they're doing everything possible to restore it to its original glory.
Posted March 10, 2013 at 9:11 PM
From Tyler HarrisMike-I'm not threatening you.
Posted March 11, 2013 at 4:35 AM
Steve -I like your Cyclone update but please make your own thread on it.
From steve leeWhy would I start a new thread to respond to a post? That's moronic.
Posted March 11, 2013 at 8:36 PM
From Tony DudaI still hate the Viper at Great Adventure, 10 years after it was torn down for El Toro. Only coaster to ever actually sprain my neck.
