A winged coaster would be crazy awesome for Disney, but that's so unDisney... If Disney added a winged coaster I would shed tears of joy! I've heard that they are doing a more intricate Soarin' and a boat ride through Pandora. What I want (this seems impossible, even to me) is to have lighted paths so when you step, it glows in that spot like in the movie! I can't wait to see the wildlife at night! It's going to be unlike anything we've seen!

The boat ride is still in the plans, but the Soarin style ride got ditched for an even bigger E Ticket rumored to use Vekoma's Pandora Box system.

Okay I'm so excited!! Pandora's box idea sounds awesome! I've been waiting for someone to make one!

Never heard of Vekoma's Pandora Box. I had to look it up. It's amazing all the possibilities of movement, but I wouldn't like to experience a 360 degree loop.

Disney would never have a wing coaster as much as i would love thme to have it. I feel like it will be a major E ticket ride with two other rides that are so so. Does anyone else feel like you can't get excited for this bc it's avatar. YEah I'm sure it will be cool BUT IT'S AVARTAR!!!

I always shudder at the presence of coasters in animal parks. The creatures that live there are operating on thousands of years of programmed DNA. They have sensitive hearing and (of course) no sense of context. They do not know what a coaster is. The noises and vibrations caused by heavy metal attractions must impact these animals to some degree. I applaud Busch Gardens for Cheetah Run as it is so quiet. But I really hope Avatar is less about inversions and more about immersive entertainment.
