Will Busch Gardens ever replace Mäch Tower?

Busch Gardens Williamsburg: Falcons Fury was announced, but will Busch replace Mäch Tower with something similar to Falcons Fury?

Mäch Tower has had so many issues ever since it opened and is broken down constantly. Will Busch ever replace MT with something similar to Falcons Fury (that is if Falcons Fury doesn't have as many problems as MT)? I know that they just did a major adjustment to MT, but if that doesn't help will Busch just give up with the tower?

I heard that too! Will this be the point where Busch Gardens gives up on MT?

Mach Tower has been running much more consistantly this season, and the recent downtime was a routine fix...The ride was back up in a day after replacing the main cable.

Now, I do think BGW got a little screwed by this attraction, and the fact that Tampa's drop tower is from a different manufacturer demonstrates that the chain is not really thrilled by the performance of Mach Tower. However, swapping out a multi-million dollar installation is not something parks regularly do. In fact, attractions like this that have routine downtime tend to stay put for years because the manufacturer works so hard to earn their reputation back that the park essentially get free maintenance and spare parts for the attraction for years and years. When the freebies run out, that's typically when the park will ultimately cut bait on the attraction, which in the case of Mach Tower is not likely to happen for at least 5 years or more (the attraction is entering it's 3rd season).

While the ride is a bit of a black eye, I would not expect it to go anywhere in the near future.

It's nice to know that Mäch tower is running better this season and good information about why it won't be replaced! I never would have thought of it! I'm hopefully going to get to the park sometime this summer so I hope it's running! I'm more anticipating the views from the tower rather than the drop, for I've heard it isn't as good as some of the other towers.

Actually the ride is running pretty well this year. Routine problems, but it appears to be doing fairly well.
