Thank you for contacting us regarding the services we offer our Guests with disabilities.
We are sorry for the concern you have with the changes to our attractions access for Guests with disabilities. After careful consideration and with the needs of our Guests with disabilities as our foremost priority, we have modified the current program so that we will be able to continue to serve those Guests who truly need it. Unfortunately, our past program for providing access to attractions had been abused and exploited to such an extent that we were no longer able to sustain the program.

From Eric MaloneThe sad thing is, I could've told you that it was abuse. Back in the day, back when my friends would go two, three times a year, we'd draw lots to see who would rent the wheelchair and who would feign being injured enough to warrant a wheelchair, just so that we could skip the lines.

Admittedly, that's back when we were young and dumb, and we thought it was a great way to cut the lines. We were right, 'cause we all turned out to be good enough actors that we could go on rotation during bathroom breaks.
From Anthony MurphyWell, there you go

From parker reaveYep. That’s what abuse means. And there will always be “young and dumb” smart kids who play that game.

Hey, we did it, too.
From Michelle MorganIt isn't just the young and dumb who abused it. There were people getting them and selling them online, as well as those who had them, and had people pay them to take them through the parks to avoid the lines. The abuse was above and beyond the simple fake sprained ankle... and far worse than most people could imagine. The sad part of it, is that it has punished the very people for which it was intended. The new system is in line with all of the other parks in the area now. I think we all knew that it would come to this, it was just a matter of time.
