8/11/2009 - Big Dipper - Submitted by robert on 8/12/2009 Three people were hospitalized and 18 treated at the scene when a train became stuck on Blackpool's Big Dipper and was struck from behind by a second train.8/31/2000 - The Big One - Submitted by robert on 5/15/2001 Fourteen people were injured, two seriously, when a safety brake failed to stop a train as it approached the loading station.7/22/2000 - Space Invader - Submitted by robert on 5/15/2001 An 11-year-old boy was killed after falling from the ride. (Details are at the end of the story below.) Unverified Reports8/10/2004 - The Big One - Submitted by dizwap on 8/21/2004Severe jolt to neck whilst riding which caused a "crack" sound. Was suffering from neck pain afterwards and headaches which after a few days became so bad that I had to go to local hospital to get checked out. I was diagnosed with severe whiplash injury.No Date Reported - Alice in Wonderland - Submitted by Name Withheld on 12/23/2002 I use to work at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The ride Alice's wonderland has the wrosh record of accident in the park for 2002No Date Reported - Alice in Wonderland - Submitted by mo on 6/8/2003 car came to a very sudden stop causing us to jolt forward causing my 2yr old son to bang his face and eye on the grab rail.suffering a large black eye and swelling to his face.date march 02
