Not a bad little woodie, the problem with this ride is that sometimes it can be TOO rough, rough beyond the point of enjoyment, other than that the drops are quite thrilling, and the station is beautiful with a quaint little fountain pool, and a spectacular arched ceiling above the loading platform, there is a good build up to the lift hill and the architecture is rather elegant. 8/10 - jack briggs It may not be the biggest or the fastest or the roughest(The Grand National nabs the latter honor), but the classic Big Dipper is my favorite coaster at BPB -- certainly my favorite woody. From its beautiful period loading station to its ideal pacing and its wonderful integration with the myriad other rides around, under, and over which it winds its exhilarating, air-time filled way, this ride just puts a big smile on my face and makes me feel like a kid again. And isn't that what the best parks/rides are supposed to do? Beautiful to look and just so much fun to ride, TBD is, for me, truly a dream coaster. - Paul Clemens
