So unsafe but so much fun!!! Steeplechase is one of those childhood type rides that still exists and its great for laugh if you get to race against your friends on the horses. - Bekka Jones

I am not to keen on this ride if i am honest, i don't find it boring, it just is not my type of ride, it feels unsafe too! Holding onto your fibreglass steed for dear life as you go round the bends and feel like you are going to fall off! Another criticism is that it rarely races properly! The other oponents are always miles behind or infront of you. It is however, one of a kind, and unique, and that's what makes it special. 4/10 - jack briggs

For another delightful trip back into amusement park history -- something the Pleasure Beach excels at, among other things -- just saddle up and take THIS steed for a ride! You'll swear you were back at Steeplechase Park in Coney Island where the prototype of this attraction originated. And, believe me, you won't find many rides like this one back in the good ol' Litigious States Of America! Just the THOUGHT of expecting adults to be able to have the presence of mind to hold tight to their mechanical mount (while only held on by a thin leather strap around the waist) as they navigate the breezy but not overly fast undulations of the green, yellow and red parallel tracks of the racecourse, competing against their fellow riders in a dash for the finish line... Well, it chills the blood! But it also warmed my heart as I'm sure it will yours. Because, hey, it also just happens to be so much FUN! - Paul Clemens
