The ride is a little rough round the edges but is still a good roller coaster. The first and second drop are impressive but the turns are really not good you don't really feel like you are going to fall out more like the carriage is going to fall off the track. This ride is a classic, but nothing special. I have been on it a few times though and would still count it as a must ride. - Emily G

I enjoyed my ride on Pepsi Max Big One. The first drop is outstanding and the first hill offers some air time. The coaster is starting to show its age however, with lots of parts becoming very rough. Overall a ride worth waiting for if the line is long, a must see a BPB. - Michael Owen

What a truly amazing ride! Anyone who is brave enough to queue for the ride will be greeted with one of the best coasters in the country. The lift hill is fantastic, the view is amazing and it creates tension as you head towards the twisting first drop which is amazing! The next part of the ride is brilliant, with a turnaround! And even more drops, with a great tunnel at the end! The helix is also weird. Whenever i am in Southport, or Formby, i can see the ride in the distance, it is spectacular just to look at, especially at night, go on the Big One if you haven't done before! You're day isn't complete without a ride on the Pepsi Max. 10/10 - jack briggs

I'm pretty much with Martin on this one. The first drop is truly awesome, then it's all downhill from there -- pun intended. To be fair, the visuals ARE really good and the speed is pretty exhilarating, but then come the mid-course brakes which slow the train down to such a crawl that, during the long, overbanked left turn, you truly feel as if you're going to fall right out of the train. But, unlike on the first drop, NOT in an exciting way. Do something about that nasty trim-brake, fellas, and you might once again have something to be really proud of. - Paul Clemens

This is awesome. The guy above said something about the pictures, i agree, i have seen a picture and it is supposedly of the Grand National, but as all of us know the Gran National is Twin tracked ride, and the picture shows a coaster of a single track, i think it is an american woodey. Anyway back to the Pepsi Max, well i love it. Last year i went to BPB, and went on the Big One for the first time, we got on the ride 3 times that day, and it just seemed to get better and better. I like the height markers on the left of the track going up the first climb, as if we didn't need reminding that we are 200 ft above the ground. And then the first drop just pounces on you, and you fly down it. I disagree with the guy above because he said it was dull after the first drop, no-way! The second drop is quick and thrilling then the first corner, wow you feel like your going to fall out, love that bit. The the drops after that corner which go past infusion are also good. And where you have your picture taken that is good coming thruogh that tunnel and into the station!!! Just a fantastic ride! - Ben Dore
