I do not agree that this is an amazing ride it is entertaining enough, but not comparable to other more sophisticated indoor or water rides. The effects are pretty good and it really is a fun ride, which I didn't have to wait more than ten minutes for on my visit. There are really not that many days in Blackpool that you would want to get wet. - Emily G

I Love this ride...amazing effects in my opinion, some of the drops and special features are completely unexpected. And to add to the fun of it you'll get completely soaking wet - great on a warm sunny day. - Bekka Jones

One of the best water-based attractions I have been on. The attraction was very well themed and some of the effects were amazing. The ride itself was great and got me really soaked, more so than even any of the water rides in IOA, which I thought would be near impossible! - Michael Owen

What can i say about Valhalla? Well when you are in the mood for getting wet, it is truly fantastic!! The theming and the effects are just amazing! Especially the fire effects! And the ice room is also good, as is the tunnel of water, this is a ride that used to be one of my favourites, and i would ride it several times, however the sheer volume of water and unreliable effects let it down. 7/10 - jack briggs

This is one of my absolute favorite rides at BPB. In fact, it's one of my very favorite rides of its type, period -- i.e., elaborately themed indoor water-based attractions, like 'Journey To Atlantis','Pirates Of The Caribbean' or 'Splash Mountain'. And though it doesn't reach the level of flawless technical perfection that those aforementioned rides do, I like it equally well because of the entire concept: theming, mood, effects, etc. AND its sheer OUTRAGEOUSNESS, which, I warn you, you MUST be prepared for. And I'm speaking here of the incredibly, saturatingly WET nature of this attraction. Believe me, you will not just get damp on this ride. You will get well and thoroughly SOAKED! If, however, you can deal with that, then this ride is an absolute blast! However, not prepared for it myself the first time, I actually felt fairly shocked and assaulted and miserable, despite being quite impressed by the overall concept and execution. (Though I DO wish they'd do something about the ice and snow room, where one can no longer observe the once-elaborate tableau & figures which -- at least when I last saw it -- were completely buried under a mountain of ice!) Nevertheless, in retrospect, I found that the more I thought about the ride the more I liked it. And isn't that the true test of a great ride -- that one finds oneself thinking about it a lot afterward and wishing one could ride it again and again? But the next time I'm able to, I intend to be wearing a full-on SCUBA suit! - Paul Clemens

I liked this ride, but not so much that i give it 10/10. My friend said it was amazing and worth the wait, so we waited only 15 mins whichw asn't bad, and went on. He kept telling me what was coming next then, he got something wrong, he said there used to be a much bigger backwards drop, but i was only a small one when we went on last year, which made us think they shortened the drop, so if it was still a larger drop i would have said a possible 9/10! But not a bad ride 7-8/10!!! - Ben Dore
