Description

Griffon is a Bolliger & Mabillard floorless dive coaster, featuring 1 205-foot, 90-degree initial drop, two Immelman loops (a simultaneous loop and roll), a second, 130-foot drop and a water splash. The ride is themed to a half-eagle, half-lion mythical creature, and is set in a French village.

I arrived first thing in the morning and also took a ride later in the day. No matter what time, they always had the three coaster running, making the lines go pretty quickly. The ride itself is phenomenal. I rode Sheikra at the Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa and the Griffon has nothing on that. The drop is amazing but is followed by many invigorating twists, turns, loops, and a second drop. Throughout the park, at least in my opinion, none of the coaster can compete with the Griffon. - Philip Lupo

Absolutly awesome-smooth as glass- the drop will take your breath away. - Christy Shuman

Wow, what a ride. Smooth and fast. Wish it were a little longer, that's all. - Leon Pfeiffer

I love Busch Gardens and this coaster is top notch. - Michael Barkdoll

Very unique ride. Great coaster. - Tim Strickland

Sweet ride. I haven't been on SheiKra yet, but people keep telling me Griffon's better. Second best coaster in the park, after AC - Alex Clark
