Howl-O-Scream

Halloween

Description

“The NeverAfter," a new village for visitors over 17 years of age, debuts in 2007 at Busch Gardens Europe's after-hours Halloween event.

The village features two new mazes and a scare zone.

Grimm Hollows: Deadtime Stories is based upon the (fictitous) childhood home of the Brothers Grimm. Guests traverse the rooms of Howl-O-Scream’s most horrifying haunted house.

Tormented Tales puts visitors through the “pages” of Brothers Grimm stories.

The only trail out of villiage is the new scare zone, The Beaten Path, a road where fairytale fiends guide guests.

Howl-O-Scream debuts Sept. 14, and continues every Friday,
Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 28.

Just went 13 Oct 2007, my first time, and admit I was a little disappointed. The shows were very good, but I went for the "scare zones." I can't say they were much better than typical haunted houses. Not to say they weren't scary and fun, but I was expecting more from BGE. The queue time was also very long, we didn't get to do "Tormented Tales" maze because the wait was over 2 hours. The whole clown thing in Italy/Turkey struck me as kind of lame. I hate to diss on BGE b/c I love it so much, but this was a little bit of a let-down.
