Despite it's age, it is still a good coaster. Nessie does not pack as many thrills as the Griffon or the Chariot but it is still a commendable coaster. Through the very smooth ride, one can see the beautiful landscape that BGE has preserved so well. There are a few areas, such as the large tunnel, that provide some of the roller coaster feel but overall it is pretty commendable. - Philip Lupo

Happy 30th birthday Nessie. Nessie to this day is still a wonderful ride. The drop, the loops and the speed, the tunnel are all great. Nessie is also a relatively smooth ride. - Christy Shuman

Despite its age, I rate it right up there with the newer ones. Don't miss it! - Leon Pfeiffer

She might be showing her age a bit compared to the newest monsters, but Nessie is still a great coaster, and one of the most beautiful anywhere. - Adam Imbruglio

i still love this coaster to this day. A ride in the back car at night is worth the trip to BGE all by itself. - Erica Hill

This was the first "serious" roller coaster I ever rode, and I fell in love at that first ride. Sure, there are sleeker looking coasters now, as one would expect. But I still love Nessie. - Robert Niles

Pretty good classic coaster. Love the tunnel - Andy Marks
