Tanganyika Tidal WaveFlume rideMinimum height to ride: 48 inches About Tanganyika Tidal WaveBusch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Tanganyika Tidal Wave takes guests on a leisurely cruise down an exotic African river outfitted with beautiful flora, cave paintings and villages. The relaxing trip turns into an adrenaline rush when the boat plummets down a 55-foot drop into a lagoon and drenches its excited riders. The deluge also creates a giant wave that engulfs onlookers standing on a bridge over the rushing water. [Update this description | Read previous versions] Photos from Tanganyika Tidal WaveSafety
Readers' Opinions
this ride is goood but you get so soaked and it is super slow. - haley swinehart 7/10. Somehow this ride is fun. I know it's just a slow ride you go up and drop but it's enjoyable. - Nicholas Gammon The ride is fun but it is funner to stand on th bridge and get soaked! Either way you will get soaked but both ways are a blast. - Katie G-Desjardins You don't even have to ride the ride to get wet. Just stand on the bridge. The ride is pretty boring. - Colson Verheul the ride itself is just ok, but just stand on the bridge above it and you will get soaked to the bone. its so fun to do on a hot day. - roxy m
