A collection of Australian-themed animal exhibits, including Kangaloom (where you can pay an extra fee to feed a kangaroo, at scheduled times during the day) and The Kookaburra’s Nest aviary.

One of the coolest animal areas they have at Busch Gardens, also one of the more intimate. When we were there, some of the wallabies were actually squeezing through the wooden bars that were part of their enclosure. This was quite charming for both kids and adults alike, and made for some amazing pictures. You can feed them at certain times, apparently, but we didn't while we were there. - Eric Malone

Great opportunity for a close up look at kangaroos and wallabies. - Carl Stovall

I like the theming in this area. I first was questioning an Australian animal section in an African themed park, but I remember the park has dropped the Africa name from its title and simply known as Busch Gardens Tampa. The kangaroos and wallabies are very cute and its cool that you can buy food so they'll come right up to you which is perfect for photos. Walkabout Way is a great addition to Busch Gardens' animal attractions. - Justin Kermgard
