I rode the le scoot and the smells drove me crazy but when i got off they said we were going to this restraunt and it was fantaastic - Steven D My husband and I go to Busch Gardens every year. Last week we went to Trappers for the first time. We were underwhelmed. The brisket was completely overcooked, the ribs were tough. The BBQ was okay, nothing to write home about. We at dinner right at 4:30, so they hadn't been open long. We were very disappointed. - Hannah Atkins Best food in the Park and right up there with the best BBQ in the country. There is a lot of good BBQ in the Williamsburg area. Don't ride the nearby flume ride on an empty stomach. The smell will drive you nuts! - Elizabeth Gray Theme park food at its best. I know bbq and this is it. - vernon griffin Great ribs, cooked right at the park, outside. - corbin byers This is in France, near the train station (about the farthest point from the entrance to the park). We wanted something substantial, and the atmosphere seemed nice, rustic log cabin kind of thing with the smell of smoked ribs wafting through the air (courtesty of outdoor grills; it looks like they just finish the ribs off on them to give them some char). The setup is pretty standard, grab a tray and stand in line in cafeteria fashion, and grab pre-made plastic plates of various meals. The most common are brisket, ribs and chicken. I got a combo plate of all three. It came with waffle fries, a roll, and a little tub of BBQ sauce on the side. They also had desserts, salads, sandwiches and side items. Two combo plates and two soft drinks was $31 (hello!) Only outdoor seating available, so we grabbed a picnic table and dug in. It was pretty bad. We are used to this kind of amusement park food, (I mean what else are you gonna do, exit the park to go drive somewhere just to eat?)..but, c'mon. The chicken (a smallish breast/wing/leg portion with skin) was the best part..not all that bad, somewhat tender and seasoned ok. The brisket was very dry, but dipping the strips in the decent tub of sauce made them somewhat enjoyable. Kind of like a cold satay. However, the spare ribs were so tough as to be inedible. I returned the meal, just asking for a refund for a third of the meal (they graciously gave me more). The waffle fries were like a poor man's Chic-fil-a kind of thing. The roll, though large, was cardboard. Next time I'll just stick to funnel cakes and dippin dots. - Melonia Thurston More attraction and restaurant ratings:
