Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Ricochet, a roller coaster at Carowinds. (The minimum height to ride is 44 inches.)
Written by George Gray
A standard wild mouse that one may see in many parks throughout the world. For Carowinds, Paramount arranged the ride and its surroundings to make one feel as if they were on the boardwalk at a North or South Carolina beach. A fun ride which may even give the rider a jolt of airtime.
Maybe there's something I don't know about why it's called Ricochet, but the theming is so weird it's sort of insane. They might be related and I just don't know, but fish, these things that say "hey y'all!" on the cars, and "Ricochet" sure don't seem related. I guess it sort of has to do with a boardwalk, but the weird characters still don't make since. But the ride itself really sort of hurts during the turns but the rest isn't that bad. - Bradley Keith
I believe that this ride is amazing! People are being ignorant when they think the ride is bad because you feel like you'll fall off because that's the point of the ride! ITS GREAT! - Trina V.
this little coaster gets you. - Tyler Bell
