Our family visited Discovery Cove a few years ago. Friends have visited recently and say it is the same. It is a beautiful facility but rather expensive. The interaction time spent with the dolphins is in a small group of about 6-8 people. The interaction is personal including holding the dolphin's fin and being dragged along by her. Our dolphin's name was Dixie. However, family are kept at a photographic distance and if you want to get any good pictures or video you have to buy their videographer's product.(He's right next to the group). The dolphin interaction lasts only about 25 minutes. This is a once in a lifetime thrill especially for children but bring your credit card! - jim mclaughlin
