The Grand Reef at Discovery Cove

Chris Christner
The Grand Reef most exemplified the Discovery part of the park's name. We entered shallow water with a few underground rock formations. Okay. Then we looked at the reefs underwater and were much cooler looking. And then-hey there's a fish-no, wait, it's a whole school of fish. Hold on-is that a ray swimming around here? There are true layers of discovery as you venture further out, and my boys and I enjoyed it immensely. My wife got freaked out when a ray brushed against her and had to bail.
