About Disney's Animal Kingdom

Location: Disney's Animal Kingdom is part of the Walt Disney World Resort, located just off I-4, south of Orlando. You can get driving directions by clicking the Disney's Animal Kingdom link on Theme Park Insider's Google map of U.S. theme parks.

History: Animal Kingdom opened in April 1998, the fourth theme park at Walt Disney World.

Hours: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com. Walt Disney World is open 365 days a year.

Tickets: Order online. Always try to buy your tickets in advance, to save time when you get to the park.

[570 + / 69 -] Call 407-WDW-DINE or visit http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/ up to 180 days before your visit to make your dining reservations.

[320 + / 74 -] If staying at a Disney-owned resort, take advantage of the Extra Magic hours, where lines are short and crowds are small! It's the best time to visit some of the more popular attractions while feeling like you're the only ones in the park!

[226 + / 17 -] The Attractions you MUST get a fastpass for to save your sanity: Splash Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Toy Story Mania, Test Track, Soarin, Rockin Roller Coaster, Kilimanjaro Safaris.
