Heimlich's Chew Chew Train

Track ride

About Heimlich's Chew Chew Train

An outdoor dark ride, if you will, where you ride with Heimlich through a garden filled with giant pieces of fruit and candy he's eaten through.

It reminded me of those train rides found in malls all across america, except the train is a long catapillar on a short track. However, the added smells of fruits and sweets really enhance the ride. - John Towers

This is ridiculously short, but there wasnt a line at all when i went on, so it didnt bother me too much. But there is no way i would go on this if there was a line of any kind...well, unless i had a little kid with me. - Chloe !

A fun ride for a young kid, we could smell some of the fruit and goodies! I agree it's too short, but that made the wait tolerable. - Frances K

Very cute. I personally loved Heimlich in the movie. And his ride is pretty funny. Again, riding with a group makes it even more fun. - Sarah E

This ride, like the entire Bug's Land, is cute to look at, but too tame (even my almost-3 year old was bored) and WAY too short. Honestly, I'm not sure it would have seemed sufficient if it was twice as long. And we only had to wait 5 or 10 minutes... We just had to laugh about how pathetic this was. - Sara Bristol

The ride is charming, but much too short. Toddlers are disappointed that they have to get back off so soon after getting on. - Mostly Anonymous

A kid train ride through some nice scenery. The olfactory effects on the ride are nice extra touch, but the ride is short and is really slow-loading, creating somewhat long wait times. Has better theming than the rest of the bug's land rides and also seems to be the most popular of the attractions in fliks fun fair so if your headed to this part of the park make Heimlich's your first stop. - Manny Barron

The train in and of itself is great. Love the "Bug's Land" theme of being a tiny bug. They've even got the track going through seemingly larger-than-life, but real, plants. The fake food stuffs (WAY bigger-than-life) are fun and scented! The best of all is Heimlich's chatter about how hungry he is. (Why didn't they didn't capitalize on this by installing a candy stand nearby?) This one's always on our DCA "must-ride" list. - Blue Dragonfly

Colorful. What smells? - DOCTOR WHEELER

Nice kiddies ride with yummy smells wafting out of a tunnel at one point, with giant oversized food. - Jennifer Sharpe

It is short, yes...but its a ride for little children . They have short attention focus. With that said.... We ended up on this ride nearly as much as its a small world at Disneyland. My daughter loved it. She loved the watermelon smell spray, she loved the candycorn. My husband still has to do Heimlich's voice just like we were going on the ride. - kelly griffin

WAY TO SHORT>>>> Add some time to it and a few more virtual smells and the kids may dig it more. - Christopher Dowell
