Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar, a walk through in Pacific Wharf at Disney's California Adventure.
Written by Robert Niles
Housed in a small room in the Golden State Vinery, the Blue Sky Cellar hosts exhibits from Walt Disney's Imagineers detailing upcoming projects inside California Adventure and around the Disneyland Resort.
The current exhibit focuses on Buena Vista Street, the new entrance to California Adventure, which will debut in early Summer 2012.
Not for everyone, this small diversion is the "coming attractions" version of what's next for Disney parks. Showing artist renderings, scaled down models and previews of what Disney Imagineering are planning for the Disneyland Resort, The Blue Sky Cellar is geared towards an older audience. It's a quick stop where you won't likely spend more than a few minutes, but it gives a rare glimpse of how attractions are designed and what to look forward to in coming years. Exhibits are rotated based on construction timelines. - Jeff Haslam
Very informational and educational exhibit. Currently Carsland is on exhibit. - Erik Avila
Good place to see concept art, and a great video about the imagineers whom worked on Buena Vista Street and DCA. - Victoria Jurkowski
