Readers' Opinions
As an 11 yr old, I find the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set awesome. You can get wet and there is effects that makes you seem small! If your a kid or an adult I'm sure you'll like it. - Katie G-Desjardins Good for kids but is pretty dirty - Dan Rosenberg The one untouched, beautiful entity left in that shell of the back part of the park. I'm glad its still there and still making kids go crazy...hopefully it stays there for a while. - Wilfredo Alvelo It is a good break for the kids. A chance to run around. Watch out for the water pistols !! - jack roberts As a Cast Member there, I suppose I have more than a little bias...whatever the case, it has been my pleasure for the past 9 months to come and do my part for the well-being of the Guests and the upkeep of this wonderful playground. So you all think it's dated, eh? I say more parents should be showing their kids its origin: "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" is a classic family film that everyone can enjoy. I grew up watching this movie as a kid, so to be able to come to work in a place that helps me to reminisce about my childhood is truly a dream come true. I get to watch a new generation be enthralled by its simple charms and thrills, and that is what makes it worth it to spend my time there. If the Imagineers decide to re-theme it to the "movie of the now," that's when I'll take my leave. Until then, I'll enjoy the hauntingly beautiful Ray Lynch score, the various activities and things to do for all ages, and most importantly of all, providing that quality service you all have come to know and to love. I'll see you at the Playground! - Gary CM its pretty cool for kids. although they probably will only want to stay around 20 minutes, and there might be some things that scare them. i used to be afraid of the big sniffing dog when i was little! cool theme although they could have done more with it. - roxy m |
