Mama Melrose's looks like an Italian-American neighborhood restaurant of the 1930s, with bare wooden floors, red-and-white checkered tablecloths, and grapevines hanging from the rafters.

House Specialties include bruschetta, crispy calamari, penne alla vodka, spicy Italian sausage, and various flatbreads.

This is my favorite restaurant (outside of Epcot) at Disney World. The food is very good and not too expensive (as far as Disney goes). I make it a point to eat here every time I'm at DHS. You don't always need reservations but it generally is a good idea. I like the Penne alla Vodka, Chicken Campanelle, and the flatbreads. Yummy! :) - Mickey Black

A good place to go and eat to get away from the typical park food that seems to plague this themepark. - Brandie S
