Pinocchio's Daring JourneyDark rideAbout Pinocchio's Daring JourneyA disappointing dark ride that fails to capture the spirit of one of Disney's better animated films. But worth a trip if there's no wait. Photos from Pinocchio's Daring JourneySafety
Readers' Opinions
This ride does a decent job of retelling the story of Pinocchio. This ride is well done and is worth a look. The sets are sharp and the sound is good. I recommend checking out this ride at least once. Wait times are considerably shorter at night than during the day. - Manny Barron I used to think this ride was super creepy because there were these creepy puppets. But on my last visit to Disneyland, I didn't see the creepy puppets. But, there was that whale from the movie, and I didn't remember seeing that before. Maybe I just missed the puppets. But no matter what the ride seemed much better without the creepy puppets. haha =) - Chloe ! A fairly short dark ride, Pinnochio's Daring Journey is very oriented towards large and flashy effects. The small details (i.e: the shooting star at the end of the attraction) are overlooked due to effects that draw your entire focus away from the small magic moments that really show Disney's careful consideration of the little things that are vital to Disney's classic story of the little puppet who wanted to be a real boy. - Sarah =D Probably one of the best rides in fantasyland (besides the matterhorn.) I love going over the city. - Erin : ) Another piece of Disney history that you should go on if the lines are short. It was good, and brightly coloured theming inside. - Jennifer Sharpe
