Hydra The RevengeRoller coasterMinimum height to ride: 54 inches About Hydra The RevengeA B&M floorless roller coaster. Purple and green in color and residing next to a lake. It's called "Hydra: The Revenge" because it took over the spot where the "Hercules" coaster once stood. -- Last edited by Mitch Rozetar [Update this description | Read previous versions] Photos from Hydra The RevengeSafety
Readers' Opinions
The jo-jo roll before the lift hill was really cool and not expected however I thought Hydra was kind of rough for being a steel coaster as these are usually very smooth rides. - Stacey C. My favorite ride in the park! Yes, it needs some speed, but I love it how it gets right to the point with an opening barrel roll, a quick lift hill, and then 4 strait inversions without interruption. Airtime in the front and back, too! - Eli Katzman Great ide not very fast but still good. Love the first corkscrew. feels like u fall ot of ur seat - christian giovannini A pretty good ride with some intense inversions, but I felt that it did not top Medusa at Great Adventure. - Nick S The inversions get boring after a while and the ride gets sort of slow at the end. The only part of this ride that I truly enjoy is the jojo roll; it gives you some major airtime. But overall,it was a fairly " eh" ride. 4/10 - Greg Bark Its just to short in height for me. The jojo roll is a good element but there are too many flat spins and corksrews. Its very repetitive. Doesnt compete with like a Medusa. Plus the second inversion... i dont count it as one... You're never upside down during it. - jim boyadjis Okay, but certainly nothing special. It's almost an absurdly long ride, but a bit shaky and definitely does jostle you around a bit. Give it a try at some point during your trip, but this is not a ride you'd want to go on over and over. - K P
