Here is my reason for the "Mediocre" rating: Fulton is a BIG hit or miss restaurant. Their custom cut crab claws are extremely good. At $51 they should be. At a recent visit I tried the crab cakes ($29) and was very disappointed. The menu describes them as "jumbo lump" and that is far from accurate. They looked to be made of scraps, heavily seasoned, and heavily breaded. They tasted like something you would expect from a local "all you can eat" seafood restaurant. We have a long history of going to Fulton's when guests arrive as they like to go there. I think we will have to start a new tradition because at $250 for a table of four with only one person having a glass of wine..... well, we locals know much better places to go. $250 is too much for mediocre. - Mark Hollamon
