Giant Drop

Drop ride
Minimum height to ride: 48 inches

About Giant Drop

Dreamworld’s Giant Drop, 119m tall (about 400 feet), and the tallest free fall ride on the planet. It shares the same tower as the 'Tower of Terror’ The best thing about sharing the same tower as another ride, is that when the TOT is run, it shakes the tower… and when your up the top waiting to fall, it scares the hell out of even the most seasoned thrill riders. Just think of it as a free fall ride built onto the sides of Superman: the escape at SFMM, because thats really what it is.

THE TALLEST FREEFALL TOWER IN THE WORLD!!! How can you give it anything less than a 10, or at least 9? :-P The scariest part is just sitting at the very top, waiting to plunge straight back down. It's makes it even worse when the tower of terror car comes zooming up the side of the tower, causing the whole thing to shake a bit :-\ 10/10 - Robert Brimelow
